Ceramic bearings can not only significantly reduce the friction coefficient and improve mechanical efficiency, but also maintain good performance in harsh environments and extend the lifespan of the bearings. In addition, high-strength alloy steel, powder metallurgy materials, etc. are also constantly being optimized, providing strong support for the performance improvement of bearings. 
Design innovation is another important aspect that drives the advancement of bearing technology. By optimizing the structural design of bearings, such as adopting new roller profiles, improving the shape and material of the cage, it is possible to effectively increase the bearing's carrying capacity, reduce noise and vibration. For example, some advanced bearing designs adopt asymmetric structures, which can better adapt to complex load distributions, improving the reliability and stability of the bearings. 
The improvement of manufacturing processes is also indispensable. The development of precision processing technology has enabled continuous improvement in the manufacturing accuracy of bearings, with dimensional tolerances and surface roughness controlled within extremely small ranges. Advanced surface treatment technologies, such as carburizing, nitriding, and hard chrome plating, can improve the hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance of the bearing surface, further enhancing the comprehensive performance of the bearings. In addition, the application of intelligent manufacturing technology in bearing production is also increasingly widespread.
